How to write a useful customer support message
A good support message makes the issue easy to understand and gives the business a clear next action. It is usually more effective than a long account of every frustration surrounding the purchase.

Put the order first
Include the order reference, purchase date and product name. Describe the specific mismatch: an item missing from the box, a size different from the label or a delivery marked complete that you cannot locate. Avoid sharing a password or full payment-card number.
Ask for an outcome
State whether you want information, a replacement, a return instruction or a refund review. Attach a small number of relevant photographs if the form allows it. A concise hypothetical message might say: “Order 123 arrived today with one of two mugs missing. Please confirm whether the second mug will be sent separately or arrange a replacement.”
Keep the thread together
Use the official support channel and retain the acknowledgement. Follow up with the same reference if the promised response time passes. If you need to escalate, a dated record of the original request and replies is more useful than starting from scratch. Consumer rights and payment dispute procedures vary, so consult your local consumer body or payment provider when the normal support process cannot resolve the issue.
